“I loved the recipes! It was so nice to be able to have the recipes and meals plans, and not have to wonder what we were going to make for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The recipes were also very easy to make and didn’t take a whole lot of time. It was easy to prepare a week’s worth of food in a couple hours and be ready to go for that week and not have to wonder what snacks to have throughout the day. ” I had a very unhealthy relationship with food that I did not even realize I had until I started this challenge. I cried for the first week because I did not know what to do with myself. As my body started to detox and clean its self out I began to feel the sun to come out! My constant gut ache went away. My skin took on more of a glow. I did not feel the unrelenting desire to go take a nap constantly throughout my day. I began to enjoy my workouts. I started to run again. Things that seemed impossible and really hard became easier. Since the birth of my second child I have been on a constant diet. I am your classic yoyo dieter. I have tried everything from diet pills to starving myself to exercising 3 hours a day! I can say with this challenge I look at it as a new way of life. I do not consider myself on a diet. I can also say I have never been on a diet that made me feel overall “better”. I am not at my ideal goal weight but I feel good about myself and I feel like with this new way of eating I will get there and I am not in a huge hurry to get there!

” I have loved the community because I am a person who likes to be told what to do and how to do it when it comes to weight loss and eating. This is exactly what I have needed in my life. I loved that the workouts were different every week and kept things fresh and new. I loved being involved with the others in the group and hearing about what they were going through too. It was encouraging and uplifting. The recipes from Eat Drink and Shrink are great. Some of my favorites as well as my kids are: Coconut Pumpkin soup with chicken, whole wheat pizza, turkey BLTs, protein balls….the chocolate ones, and the whole wheat pastas. It feels so good to eat clean and eat for energy! I had total weight loss of 26 lbs. My overall experience summed up into one word would be….FREEING! I feel free of guilt, of hopelessness, of negative talk about myself, and it feels soooooo good! I have tried many other diets and either couldn’t stick to it or it just didn’t make sense to my body. This program and clean eating feels so good and I just want others who have struggled with weight loss to have this same opportunity. I lost 14 pounds, 19 inches, and I dropped 2 pants and 2 shirt sizes!

“The Forever Fit Challenge was unlike anything I have ever done. I have tried every weight loss program that I could get my hands on and none of them ended up being successful because they were not sustainable for long periods of time. I can’t count calories the rest of my life, I cannot log my food into my phone or computer every time I take a bite, I don’t want to eat 2 shakes per day and a sensible dinner, I don’t want to eat baby food the rest of my life… but eating whole foods 6 times per day in sensible portions and having my energy increase, my skin clear, my waist line shrink, etc, etc. etc – now THAT I can do for the rest of my life. Actually I WANT to do that for the rest of my life! This concept is sustainable, the portions and foods are filling enough that you don’t feel deprived and you also don’t feel over-full. The workouts are wonderful as well. I am a busy Mom of 2 girls and don’t have the time to work out an hour per day! This program offers well-rounded workouts that increase the strength of the entire body without the use of weights or machines. The best thing is that none of the workouts are longer than 30 minutes (with an occasional 40 minute cardio workout). I feel that the community has been absolutely vital in this experience. You always hear how much easier it is to reach your goals if you find a “workout buddy”. Well I found an entire community to workout with, set goals with and share both victories and challenges with. It is wonderful to know that even if no one around you know what you are going through or has common goals and/or desires – you have a community of people that are right there with you! The first major change I noticed with the Eat, Drink and Shrink recipes and meal plans was that I went from never eating breakfast because I only liked the “bad” breakfast food (waffles, cereal, etc.) and didn’t want to carb-load in the mornings. The meal plan taught me that it is ok to have yogurt, a few berries, a piece of toast AND some veggies for breakfast. I no longer feel deprived and confused in the morning as to what I should eat. My favorite recipes are definitely the Peanut Butter Balls, the Cocoa / Date Balls and the Tropical Trail Mix! They are better than anything you can get in the store! I lost 14 pounds, 19 inches, and I dropped 2 pants and 2 shirt sizes!”

I lost 49 pounds in 60 days!!!.

“One of the reasons I always ate out was because I hated cooking. It took too long to prepare. With these recipes, they were simple, had really easy prep and they didn’t take long to actually cook either. I don’t mind cooking now. If I’m really hungry, it’s quicker for me to cook the food than to go out and buy something. My favorite recipes are probably the BBQ burger, Flavorful turkey burger and the Chicken artichoke pizza. I like wrapping the burgers in Iceburg lettuce and sprinkling some goat cheese one it. Protein balls are always delicious too. This experience has been life changing. I will never eat the way I did before. I actually feel healthy now. My body feels clean. I don’t feel gassy and sluggish all the time. This way of eating (I don’t want to call it a diet, because it’s not) is so much easier and satisfies my hunger WAY more than the other diets I’ve tried. With HCG and Atkins, I was always hungry or felt tired and fatigued. I have more energy now than I’ve had in at least the last 5 years and my body feels detoxified. To my surprise, it all began to get easierday by day. The measuring and deciding what to eat at each meal did become second nature. Probably the biggest amazement for me is how strong I have become and how quick it started to occur. Even after the first week I could tell my body was getting stronger and I was hooked. I feel like I have fallen in love with working out again and that in and of itself is a miracle.So I loved when you said”you eat to live not live to eat”. Before this I did really live to eat. And now I have become so much more aware of my body, emotions and how this relates to food. I really do think now about how I am fueling my body and nourishing it to live a great life. I am so grateful for this program and I cannot thank you enough, Danette.
